So it's been a long week or two with a lot of things going on. Rumor has it, I'm moving. We'll see if that's the case when the time comes! However, things are looking a little more exciting as time goes on. Despite that, I've been having to pack up all my things so that I can get out of my apartment by February 28th and into the company apartment. Why am I stating all of these things? It means that my camera and stuff is likely going to get packed up and I won't have it available with me when I move to the temp apartment, and likely won't have access to it again until after all that jazz gets to Montreal, and not to mention, I get there too. So, this is quite likely the last post I'm going to make unless I do something digital that I feel I can show here with out feeling awkward. Chances of that, are not very likely!
This blog space will be used to express my artistic creations. Whether that be painted figures, traditional drawings, digital works, photography, or writing... Is entirely at the mercy of the artist. You've been warned.

A Rough Month
Still no word on my living arrangements past February, other than a home with four other people. It's not something I look forward too. I need to start packing. It must get done! However, I have added a few more models to my collection since the end of December. There's a significant improvement one one, and the other was brand new.

Killer Snow
So over the Christmas Holiday I decided to take up a project that I'd dropped long ago. Well, at least try to get back into Game Maker, which I'd said long ago was actually to painful for me to work with. Turns out, Brent was right. Just using straight code rather than using drag and drop made the experience a whole lot better. For anyone who knows me, I'm not that much of a coder. It boggles me, and I don't feel like I can organize it properly. I'm a very visual person, and visual designer as well. If I can organize it by sight, I'm comfortable. Anyhow, the project.

5 Assault Marines later.
So it's taken me a while, but I've gotten them done! Yay! It's taken me nearly a week to do this, but I must admit there were quite a few distractions. All in all, I'd say this job took me 2 days of work total maybe. It was just spread out over a week and a half's time. Ah well!

Genestealers, and Clashing Armadas

Eldar Wraithlord, Completed
I've been holding onto this guy for a while. Bought on November 5th, and bogged down with so many other things to do, it's taken me some time to get to this guy. I've also finished 8 genestealers as well, but I've yet to get pictures of them to place up on this blog. I'll do that, eventually. Just need to bring my camera stand to work so I have a stable platform to take the shots needed. I kind of wanted to show off the entirety of the two armies I have sitting there at my desk.
Anyhow, this one is finished. Appologies for the crummy pictures, but the Norwegian light is all but gone these days and the clouds cover the skies often threatening to snow but never do. When I get to Canada, I hope to have a proper light studio for this stuff!

DM-Inferno, Well On Its Way.
So here's the fourth map that I've put together that I'm getting ready to go through the final process of "Making it purdy." It's gone through a play test, and if it survives the next play test with the flames included, then I'm going to start on the fun environmental stuff. That means the detail meshes and proper lighting rather than the bland "I light everything" light that it has now. So, give the video a look!
