In a DND campaign I'm participating in, with that blue lizard named Kroxigan, most the other people in the group started picking up models as well. Afterall, you get experience for having a model! However, something strange happened. It was kinda nice, an honour in a way? To understand where I come from, well, I browse a lot of art work in a day and see what people get "commissions" for. To be honest, I don't EVER feel my work is worth the money. Don't take that as me saying what I do is "terrible" or "bad." I certainly don't think what I can do isn't amazing! It is, truly, but I never feel it's payment worthy. Therefore, I get really terrified when someone plops down a model and money to paint something! I mean... I really hope I delivered.
This blog space will be used to express my artistic creations. Whether that be painted figures, traditional drawings, digital works, photography, or writing... Is entirely at the mercy of the artist. You've been warned.

Smooth Riding
The next group is done, and I enjoyed painting these guys. Will I use them in an army? I don't know honestly, I may, but I'll need a whole lot more than 3 guys if I intend to do that. Maybe for my 500 point games, maybe, but I feel they're a little wasted. However, they're looking pretty sweet I think!

Buildings, finally.
I finished. Or more accurately, I've gotten so sick and tired of these things that I'm saying I'm done now even though they aren't at top notch. I think the next time I do any other "building" project, I'm going to make sure I build it in pieces that are easier to paint and I'm not going to spend as much time as I have on these guys to make them at least look ok. I say these guys, I suppose it's really just one, but ya. I'm so tired.

An Adventure in Terrain
And so I take an adventure into terrain building. This actually wasn't all that hard, and I'm pretty excited about how it came out. Not to shabby really! I have new ideas for sandbags, you'll see those improve as I continue to build minor elements like this. These pieces of terrain will be used in matches at the office hopefully. Simple elements to the battle field we'll be fighting across with our painted army men. Or well, at least mine will be painted!

Speed Paint!
This is Kroxigan. He's a lizard creature I'm playing in a D&D campaign. I haven't gotten to use him much yet, but I mean, he's a dragon wizard! So therefore, he's awesome inherently. After just one game, I've already bought myself a model and painted him up for the group game that happens every other Tuesday. I think he came out pretty cool! I suppose next, I'll need to paint myself a space wolf assault marine for the other game I play in. I'm in way to many games D=
Eldar Group Complete
So I finished the four of them. They were quite a challenge, each and every one of them. Robes are a new thing for me, though I'm getting better with each and every attempt. Apparently you pick up a style with some colors I guess. For my reds, my style seems to be firey or drastic color changes. This is at least what the games workshop guy told me, so I tried something different. Or more, what he told me to try out.

Eldar Return
So the silly space elves make a return to the scene. I picked up a few Warlocks, infact, a box of them plus a far seer, because at the beginning of this year I made a post on someone elses site that I wanted stuff crafted by them! In so doing, I had to put up a similar post on my face book and several people responded. I'm sure they knew what was coming to them by doing so! So now, I complete two of my commitments. Well, almost. I still feel like there's a little more work left to do on these guys, and I'll get to it this week some time. But for now, I think they're looking pretty ok.
