And so I take an adventure into terrain building. This actually wasn't all that hard, and I'm pretty excited about how it came out. Not to shabby really! I have new ideas for sandbags, you'll see those improve as I continue to build minor elements like this. These pieces of terrain will be used in matches at the office hopefully. Simple elements to the battle field we'll be fighting across with our painted army men. Or well, at least mine will be painted!
This blog space will be used to express my artistic creations. Whether that be painted figures, traditional drawings, digital works, photography, or writing... Is entirely at the mercy of the artist. You've been warned.

Speed Paint!
This is Kroxigan. He's a lizard creature I'm playing in a D&D campaign. I haven't gotten to use him much yet, but I mean, he's a dragon wizard! So therefore, he's awesome inherently. After just one game, I've already bought myself a model and painted him up for the group game that happens every other Tuesday. I think he came out pretty cool! I suppose next, I'll need to paint myself a space wolf assault marine for the other game I play in. I'm in way to many games D=
Eldar Group Complete
So I finished the four of them. They were quite a challenge, each and every one of them. Robes are a new thing for me, though I'm getting better with each and every attempt. Apparently you pick up a style with some colors I guess. For my reds, my style seems to be firey or drastic color changes. This is at least what the games workshop guy told me, so I tried something different. Or more, what he told me to try out.

Eldar Return
So the silly space elves make a return to the scene. I picked up a few Warlocks, infact, a box of them plus a far seer, because at the beginning of this year I made a post on someone elses site that I wanted stuff crafted by them! In so doing, I had to put up a similar post on my face book and several people responded. I'm sure they knew what was coming to them by doing so! So now, I complete two of my commitments. Well, almost. I still feel like there's a little more work left to do on these guys, and I'll get to it this week some time. But for now, I think they're looking pretty ok.

Terminator Squad Complete!
So, they're completed! They've been sprayed to seal them and the grass added on after the fact. There's not a lot here to say about these guys, other than I'm pretty happy with how they came out. The touch ups compared to the last thing I did really brought them out a lot better. The eyes look amazing, for once, and I added some dashes to the pieces of paper adorning them. They're fantastic! I couldn't have done a better job.

Painting Again
So I've started again, and I'm kind of excited. It's been since last year in February since I've been able to work on these guys again. Finally, I'm able to. Working on miniatures is so relaxing! Well, kind of. I mean, it's nerve wracking too kinda! You're sitting there with a brush and this tiny guy and trying desperately to paint the fella, and not put a dink or a stray stroke anywhere it doesn't belong.
I've done that a few times, and as you glance through these pictures, you'll see where I've done that. I'm debating on how to clean it up. I could just paint over it again with the green, but then I might need to rehighlight, and worse, I need to put the wash back on.

EVE, A Game About Space Ships!!!
While I wait for that day to come, when the letter comes in that says "Hey, Greg! You're going to Canada!" I bide my time trying to find things to occupy my mind. In a way, games do that for me, and they do it well. My apologies for talking about a game rather than art, but seriously, I'm bored in my little paid for cardboard box in Norway. Lately I've been far more active in an old game known as EVE, and I've finally after several years found my way out into the more dangerous and law-less regions. Let me tell you, it was scary at first.
